Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. No 2026 pickleball deals are live yet. When verified deals go live in November, we will post them on this page. Until then, this page does the useful part now: what went on sale in past years, what we found no evidence of, and whether each kind of gear is worth waiting for.
Deal status (last reviewed September 15, 2026):no verified Black Friday or Cyber Monday pickleball deals yet. We do not post predicted discounts, “expected” prices or deals we have not checked. The prices on the ranked picks further down this page are Amazon's current prices from our latest check, not holiday deals.
What went on sale in past years
We read the published Black Friday roundups from recent seasons rather than guessing. Here is what they show, with the year and source for each.
- Paddles were the center of it.PICKLEBALL.COM's 2025 Black Friday roundup listed paddle discounts from more than ten brands at Pickleball Central, including Selkirk, JOOLA, Six Zero, CRBN, Paddletek and Wilson. Many were phrased as “up to” a percentage, which means select models rather than a whole range. Volair ran a buy-one-get-one offer on select paddles on its own site.
- Direct-to-player brands joined in.Pickleheads' 2025 list included a discount on the Vatic Pro PRISM, a paddle we rank, that stacked with a Pickleheads promo code.
- Court shoes were discounted. The same 2025 PICKLEBALL.COM roundup listed shoe discounts from K-Swiss, Skechers, Wilson and HEAD at Pickleball Central.
- Ball machines and nets appeared too.Lobster and Titan ball machines were listed with dollar-off offers in 2025, alongside percentage discounts on Dominator and Swiftnet nets. Pickleheads' 2025 list also covered a discounted JOOLA net.
- Some accessories showed up.Pickleheads' 2025 list included discounts on Vulcan ball multi-packs, a FORWRD bag and CRBN glasses.
One pattern worth knowing: Pickleheads noted in 2025 that “gear that is on sale during the year is often discounted even more for Black Friday,” and that many deals were announced before Black Friday itself. And when a paddle is marked down at any time of year, a 2026 paddle-deals guide from Spinwave Pickleball explains that it “normally means a newer sibling launched, not that anything is wrong with the paddle.”
What we found no evidence of
This part matters as much as the list above. We could not find any source that tracks which pickleball products are never discounted, so we will not invent a “never on sale” list. What we can tell you:
- Amazon pickleball deals: the deals in the Pickleheads roundup all linked to brand websites or specialty retailers, and we did not find past Black Friday coverage of Amazon-specific pickleball discounts. Amazon runs a store-wide event (below), but whether any particular paddle or shoe on Amazon drops in price is something we will only know when we check it.
- Budget starter sets, beginner paddles and overgrips: we found no Black Friday evidence either way for these.
- Not every model:“up to” offers and “select paddles” mean the specific model someone wants may not be included.
No evidence of a discount is not evidence that there will not be one. It just means we have nothing honest to tell you in advance.
Buy now, or wait for November?
| Gear | Our call |
|---|
| Performance paddles | Wait, if they can manage without it until late November. Widely discounted in 2025, often on select models. |
| Beginner paddles and starter sets | Buy when needed; the possible saving is small in dollars. No Black Friday evidence found either way. |
| Court shoes | Wait if you can, but a sale only helps if their size is listed. Several shoe brands were discounted in 2025. |
| Ball machines | Wait; this is where the dollar stakes are highest. Some machines had dollar-off offers in 2025. |
| Nets | Wait, if the net is a December gift anyway. Several net brands were discounted in 2025. |
| Balls, grips, glasses | Buy now; small sums, and they get used. Some ball packs and glasses in 2025; nothing found on grips. |
| Anything needed sooner | Buy now. A late-November deal is no use for a league next week. |
These are judgments from the evidence above, not predictions. We cannot tell you what any product will cost on November 27, and nobody honest can.

- +MaxGrit textured face grips the ball for real, usable spin

Cons

Don't buy this if…
…you want a thin, poppy power paddle — the 16mm core is tuned for control, not raw put-away speed.

- +Priced low enough that you have lost almost nothing if you stop playing
Cons
- −The face texture is mild, so it generates little of the spin an improving player will want

Don't buy this if…
…you already know you are committed. Skip straight to a carbon-faced paddle you will not out-grow in a month.
Best all-around court shoe
K-Swiss Express Light Pickleball Shoe

Pros
- +Designed as a pickleball court shoe, not a running shoe pressed into service
- +Reinforced toe survives the toe-drag that shreds running shoes on court
- +Light enough for quick lateral steps without feeling flimsy
Cons
- −Court shoes are firmer underfoot than a cushioned running shoe — that is the point, but it is an adjustment
- −Styling is functional, not fashion
Don't buy this if…
…you want a plush, max-cushion feel for all-day wear — a court shoe is deliberately firmer and lower.

Cons
- −As with any outdoor ball, hard hits in freezing weather still shorten its life

Best overall machine
Lobster Sports Pickle Pickleball Machine
Holds 125 ballsTopspin, backspin & lobsHorizontal sweepBattery powered
The most completely specified machine on Amazon — topspin, backspin, lobs, a horizontal sweep and a 125-ball hopper, from the best-known name in ball machines.

- +A 125-ball hopper is roughly a full drilling block before you stop to collect balls
- +Lobster has built ball machines for decades, which matters for parts and service
Cons
- −Over a thousand dollars — a serious purchase, not an impulse buy
- −Battery powered, so there is a charge cycle to plan around
Don't buy this if…
…you drill once a month. The value of a machine is in frequency; occasional users get more from a practice wall.
When to shop in 2026
The dates
Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026, which makes Black Friday November 27 and Cyber Monday November 30. Holiday sales do not stay inside those days, though. In 2025, Amazon's Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deal events ran from November 20 through December 1. As of this page's last review, we have not found an Amazon announcement of its 2026 dates; we will add them here when Amazon publishes them.
How deep sporting goods discounts actually go
Adobe's analysis of the 2025 US online holiday season reported discounts on sporting goods reaching 20.3% off listed price, compared with 30.9% for electronics and 29.6% for toys. That is across all sporting goods, not pickleball specifically, and it is last year's figure, not a forecast. The practical reading: sporting goods do get discounted at the holidays, but less deeply than the categories that dominate the headlines.
Returns, if you are buying a gift early
For the 2025 holiday season, Amazon said most items purchased between November 1 and December 31 could be returned until January 31, 2026. Amazon has not published a 2026 holiday policy that we have found, so check the return window on the listing when you buy.
How to tell a real deal from a label
Compare with the price before the sale
A struck-through “list price” tells you what a seller compares against, not what the item actually sold for last month. The more useful comparison is the everyday price in the weeks before Black Friday. Every price on this site is Amazon's price from our most recent check, stamped with the date, so the quick-picks table above is a reasonable baseline to compare November prices against.
Check the exact model
Paddle brands sell several versions of a model under one name, with different cores and weights. A discount on one version is not a discount on the one they want. Our Hyperion review shows how much the versions can differ.
A discount on the wrong gift is not a deal
A cheap advanced paddle for a beginner is still the wrong paddle. Decide who the gift is for first, using our gift guides, and only then look for the best price on the right item.

How we picked
We have not physically tested this gear
Everyone in this category says they tested twenty paddles. We have not tested any — and we say so. What we did instead: compiled the manufacturer-published specifications (face material, core thickness, grip size, USAPA approval), normalized them, and scored each product against a published rubric weighted for the skill tier this page serves. The scores are judgments from documented research, not measurements we took, because we do not have a lab and are not going to pretend we do.
Questions
Frequently asked
When is Black Friday 2026?+
Friday, November 27, 2026. Cyber Monday is November 30, 2026. Retailers often start earlier: in 2025, Amazon's Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday events ran from November 20 through December 1.
Do pickleball paddles go on sale for Black Friday?+
In 2025 they did, widely. Published roundups listed paddle discounts from more than ten brands, although many offers applied to select models rather than every paddle. We have no 2026 deals to report yet and will post verified ones here when they go live.
Should I buy a pickleball gift now or wait for Black Friday?+
Buy small items and anything needed before late November now. For a performance paddle, a ball machine or a net that is a December gift anyway, waiting is reasonable, based on what went on sale in past years. Nobody can promise what a specific product will cost in November.
How much are pickleball discounts on Black Friday?+
There is no pickleball-specific figure we can verify. Offers in 2025 varied by brand and were often “up to” a percentage on select models. Across all sporting goods, Adobe reported 2025 holiday-season discounts reaching 20.3% off listed price.
When will you post the 2026 deals?+
When they go live in November. We post only deals we have verified, with the price and the date we checked it.
